PATIENCE. For many years, master bat maker John Newsome has handcrafted cricket bats from premium English willow. |
I've picked up a fair few Woodstocks and I am yet to be disappointed
After discussing my batting style and preferences, Johnno recommended the Tour De Force and it is perfectly suited to me, incredibly light pick up and mid-low middle for front-foot play, so much so that I bought all the rest of my kit from Woodstock.
Woodstock Cricket Co have a customer for life.
I searched around for a new bat and softs to treat myself and replace tatty kit and after contacting many, Woodstock listened to exactly what I wanted and suggested kit to match.
With the bat they helped me pick a profile to suit me and sent a bat exceedingly quickly.
After deciding to return to club cricket after several years out of the game, I didn't know where to start kit-wise as all the large athletic brands had entered the cricket market since I last played.
I was recommended Woodstock Cricket Co by my new club and I couldn't be happier with the products and service.
My son and I were very excited to visit John's workshop having bought some gloves and a bag last season. John was most helpful and is clearly a master craftsman in bat making and what he doesn't know about cricket bats isn't worth knowing.
Being a bit of a cricket equipment junkie, (unfortunately, my son seems to be potentially worse!) I'll be amazed if you can find find superior equipment, especially at Woodstock's prices.
Just wanted to say this kit is amazing!! Best gear I have had and the bat is unreal! I used to get GM stuff when I was still playing some academy stuff and bit of first class in SA and this is by far much better!
Thanks so much. I will be promoting your gear to all the kids at the school and our academy!
Right through the whole range, the attention to detail is most impressive and refreshing to see.
Woodstock gives the best of both worlds: world class gear which won't bankrupt you! Keep up the good work!
Not only does it look gorgeous but my word the pressing and sweet spot outshine all my other bats and they make batting far easier than before.
As for the softs it’s hard to let go of old ones and after trying many none had the instant comfort I’ve got with Woodstock whilst still offering very high levels of protection.
When we asked Woodstock Cricket if they would be willing to help, they didn’t disappoint. We were given kit for both colts and adults and having used Woodstock equipment before I knew it was top of the range stuff!
This sort of generosity just sums up Woodstock Cricket, going the extra mile to help out worth while charities and grass root cricket.
